I was walking around the beach after sunrise on a trip to Maui, and came upon a little girl and her father at the pool. I couldn’t resist the cinematic lighting in her hair and asked her dad if I could take a few photos. This was one of my favorites.

Taken during a trip to Belgium. Everywhere you turn in Bruges is a beautiful photo and the reflections in the water make it an awesome place for photography.

Lake Moraine Sunrise

This was taken during sunrise at Lake Moraine in Banff National Park (Canada). I was there in June and it was actually snowing on the morning I took this. Maybe not cold for the local residents, but certainly not what this Florida guy was expecting

Hot Air Balloon Inflation

While teaching a seminar in New York, I took a side trip to an annual balloon festival. In the early morning they have a mass ascension and I capture this photo during the inflation of one of the balloons. I basically peaked in at the base of the balloon as a big fan was blowing air into it. Lots of fun!

Gabby and Her Balloon

One of my favorite models. My little cousin Gabby. She gets in front of the camera and just knows exactly how to pose. This was a photo shoot I did of her on Easter Sunday. She stood still for a few photos but I realized she just wanted to play. So I went with it and this ended up being one of my favorite photos of the day.

The Barn

This photo was taken in the Palouse region of Washington state. After about a half hour drive on dirt roads we came to this huge field with an abandoned barn.
